Aid provided to mitigate the effects of the Ukrainian crisis
During the Ukrainian crisis, we worked to improve the living conditions of the most affected and vulnerable groups. In the first half of 2017, during an aid campaign carried out with the support of the ACT Alliance, we distributed food aid as well as hygiene packages to families and for children under age 2.
We provided psychosocial assistance to the elderly and women in need. Additionally, we provided heating aid to single seniors in the form of firewood. We also undertook the renovation of a community refugee shelter and started providing immediate humanitarian assistance, mainly in Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia counties. The number of beneficiaries who took part in the programme was 19,878.
